Cable Recycling

Throughout the buildings, we demolish an incredible amount of cable. Through the wall, underfloor, and overhead are copper and PVC power cables. We've found a way to recycle these.

The cable collect project came to fruition after A & J Demo imported a cable granulator from China. We had been stockpiling cables for approximately 1.5 years. After a few weeks of fine-tuning, we are now able to recycle 99% of all cables used in NZ.

Copper is of a high grade, while the PBV B7 product is currently being stockpiled while we find a home for it to be recycled. This results in the cables being 100% recycled, with the products available for reuse in NZ.
